Press Release Re: New Options for Devon Theater Season Subscribers Dear Patrons, As stated in previous releases, Devon Inc. and its partner Fuse Mgt LLC have been continuing working on various ways for our subscribers to utilize the remaining portion of their season subscription(s) to the Devon Theater. At this time we would like to present you with the two latest options: Option #1 “In-House Exchange” Season Subscribers of the Devon Theater will be able to exchange the remainder of their season subscription for Devon Dollars. Devon Dollars can be spent toward the cost of any show the Option #2 “Regional Exchange” Through a great deal of assistance provided by the Philadelphia Theater Alliance & several Philadelphia Regional Theaters, the Devon subscribers can go to the following theaters below and utilize the value of their ticket and/or Devon Dollars to see a show. Each theaters offer is unique and we ask that you please contact each prior to the show to ensure your transaction goes smoothly. Currently there are other theaters working out potential deals with Devon Inc. and the Theater Alliance and as they become available they will be released to you and placed on the Theater Alliance website. Here is a sampling of ticket offers available to Devon Theatre subscribers. Rose Valley Road, Media, PA 19063) will accept Devon Dollars for tickets to A Christmas Carol adapted by Nagle Jackson (Dec. 1 - 27), Nunsense by Dan Goggin (Dec. 30 - Jan 17), Visiting Mr. Green by Jeff Baron (Jan. 28 - Feb 14), Shirley Valentine by Willy Russell (Feb 2. - Feb. 18), Look Mom, I'm Swell! by Tony Braithewaite (Feb. 25 - March 14), At This Evening's Performance by Nagle Jackson (March 25 - April 18), or Camping with Henry & Tom by Mark St. Germain (April 29 - May 23). Hedgerow will honor the $20 Philadelphia Theatre Workshop (performing at Walnut Street Theatre - Studio 5) will accept Devon Dollars for $20 general admission tickets to the world premiere of "The Invisible Play" by Alex Dremann for Thursday night performances (now through December 13, 2009) and for the world premiere of 516 (five sixteen) by Katharine Clark Gray for Thursday night performances (May 15 - June 6, 2010). If you have all of your remaining show tickets please bring them to the Box Office. At that time we will exchange those tickets for your Devon Dollars. 2. At this point in time, the Devon Theater will not be offering cash or credit card refunds. Devon Inc. is a grant based non-profit. Cuts in state funding, and the uncertainty of future funding, does not allow and or provide us with that ability at this point in time. As we have always stated from the beginning we will continue to work to create solutions for those subscribers who were affected and the following press release is a direct result of those efforts. This message will be distributed via email blast, NE Times advertisement and hard copy to those without access to email.
